On a weekend in summer, we will be enchanted by choral singing, build castles in the air out of live music and move through electronic sounds at night like light and fog. We explore classical and ambient, electronic and contemporary, avant-garde, beats, rhythm, and room acoustics and blur the boundaries between club, concert hall and open air. Three days of research laboratory, everyday vacation and discovery at Schloss Bröllin.
We want people to find each other through music, regardless of origin, gender or religion. Everyone - regardless of age - is welcome at the Detect Classic Festival.
The Detect Classic Festival thrives on the commitment of many hard-working hands. For the best weekend of the year, many things come together that otherwise rarely meet - far beyond classical music and live electronics.
The Detect Classic Festival was an initiative of the junge norddeutsche philharmonie and has since become a cooperation project between Detect Sounds gUG and the Festspiele Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. A musical-dramaturgical team of tinkerers brings DJs, live acts and extraordinary classical music experiences to Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. Festival makers from the Berlin and Leipzig art and culture collectives Werkstatttraum (ttt), Hütte, dunkelstrom, Kollektives Bewusstsein, lange.weile, Political Magic and Octopus Collective will bring a festival atmosphere to Schloss Bröllin.
