KAT EMBO is both an artist and an artistic character. With a dazzling stage presence, dynamic emotionally charged voice, sensitive accompaniment on the piano and the meditative narrative of the staged performance, KAT performs regularly in Leipzig in various programs in a range of different band and genre configurations.
In their solo performance, KAT uses piano, vocals and spoken word interludes to guide us through the story of an imperfect individual in search of the beauty of their being and, with plenty of room for sentimentality and big feelings, explores the search for acceptance of one's own shortcomings.
KAT evokes with gentleness and fantastic character the distant detcahment of a zeitgeist full of longing and impotence, and the multifaceted richness of their compositions sweeps the audience along on a wave of curiosities and dreams.
