Alto Bloom

Alto Bloom is a Berlin-based producer and musician.

Born and raised by the sea, in the windy heights of the north, her music is sometimes blunt but gentle at its heart - containing and expressing an eerie sense of vast landscapes and subliminal depths. Her voice is the primary narrator, often embedded in layers of lively guitars, dreamy textures and flickering percussion reminiscent of the late 1990s.

Even if the lyrics don't seem to be in the foreground, they are often the starting point of a story to be told and form the heart of each track. Because that's what their music is all about - finding an unclouded connection to the entire spectrum of human experience, transcending it, and expressing it through music that is put out into the world.
