Simon Höfele gets around a lot and shines as a soloist in the world's great halls. But in our opinion, what makes him even more special is his interest in jazz and contemporary music. He has no fear of contact and always explores deeper to expand his possibilities of expression. In our first Detect Classic session he was a guest and showed a part from his versatile solo repertoire, including "Fantasy for Trumpet" for solo trumpet and electronics by Kaan Bulak. At the Detect Classic Festival he will be heard together with this same composer in cooperation with the Detect Ensemble.
